Pulse comment alerts coming soon!
We’re just about to launch comment alerts for Pulse. Like mobile pulse alerts, you’ll receive an email when someone leaves a comment on your pulse.
Because pulse is so short in nature, we were able to add the comment itself in the email too.
But - getting alerts isn’t for everyone so here’s a chance to opt out of getting these pulse alerts to your email.
Just toggle to “No” and you won’t receive pulse comment alerts in the coming days. If you want to turn off your mobile messages (this won’t affect your ability to post from your phone) go here. For everyone else, stay tuned and check your email inboxes for pulse alerts.

So I’m wondering at what point does everyone get tired of hearing what everybody else is doing at any moment of the day… and what THEY think about what we’re doing at any moment of the day…. when do we OD on this?

Wouldn’t IM notification (yes, like Twitter) be better for short Pulse messages?

Hello there. It would be nice if you could take this into consideration. I really want to know if xanga could change it’s settings once again. As in like, the comments we post on our friend’s site. Can we like get to delete our own comments or something? Where there is a link or a little button that says “delete your comment” or something. I’m talking about something like myspace. where you can delete people’s comments when you post them.. If xanga could do that it would be much appreciated and i will love you forever. Since xanga pages could be private for friends only to see and the feature where you have to log in to see other people’s pages? why not make another feature that says “delete your own comment.” or something like that. please. thanks again.
I think you should look at Chanthaboune. She is very funny and creative.

Also, I agree with LoudShrieks. If we could delete our own comments, that’d be awesome. You might also want to check out this script and consider making it an integrated feature.

I love the new new frontpage. You guys have tweaked the visuals nicely, and it’s no longer painful to look at. My only complaint is that there are still advertisements on the Weblogs, Photos, Videos, Pulse, et cetera pages even though I’m a premium user (same thing with the subs, feedback, and settings pages). Could you fix that for your paying users, please?
Cool idea I just had: we have featured posts, and that’s a huge hit. I love it. What about featured photos, videos, and audio?
P.S. Is there an official way to nominate people for the Featured list? I don’t want to annoy you with my comments if there’s another way I’m supposed to suggest things.

how about.. if you’re logged in, you can still snap preview people’s sites that are xanga locked? it doesn’t make sense if i’m on someone’s page, mouse over their username and get no preview.
